What makes a good architectural design

The design of this school hostels provides equal accessibility to all students, and ample rooming. The needs of school hostel is ease of movement, enough space to carry out basic every day needs (sleeping, studying, toiletries) also, the hostel needs to have ample space for interactions between students for study and social purposes, although the design shows more than abundant in all these areas, the huge area in the centre is wasted, in places like Singapore, this proves to be a very annoying problem. the four corners may be swapped into the centre so as to take up the space in the centre.
